Dr. Cindy Anthis is a board certified Family Practice Physician. Dr. Anthis completed her undergraduate degree in Physical Education at Baylor University in Waco, Texas. She graduated from Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas with highest honors. Dr. Anthis completed her residency training in Family Medicine in Portsmouth, Virginia. Upon completion of her residency, she joined the faculty in the Department of Family Medicine at Eastern Virginia Medical School in Norfolk, Virginia. While there, Dr. Anthis participated in patient care, student and resident education and research in the area of Women’s Health.
Dr. Anthis first joined Kelliwood Family Practice in 2001 as a part time member of the staff. She took a leave of absence in 2003 to relocate to Jos, Nigeria with her husband, Dr. Joel Anthis and family. She and her husband worked for three years in Nigeria at the Christian Mission Hospital.
Dr. Anthis returned to Kelliwood Family Practice in 2007. She enjoys the full scope of Family Medicine with special interests in Women’s Health and Preventative Medicine. Dr. Anthis lives in the Katy area with her husband and four children.
